Baked Beans With Pizazz

Yields: 8 Servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 2 Tablespoons salad oil
  • 2 cans (1 pound, 12 ounces) baked beans
  • ½ cup catsup
  • ¼ cup honey

Directions:

Sauté onion, green pepper and garlic in oil until soft but not brown. Combine with beans, catsup and honey, in a two-quart casserole. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Bake uncovered 45 minutes.
